The only neo – classical Georgian Cathedral in Ireland, it is an important part of the Church of Ireland, and is considered to be of enormous architectural importance. The Cathedral, in addition to continuing as a place of Christian worship, is now used as a venue for concerts, recitals and exhibitions adding to the cultural life of Waterford.Well and truly worth a visit.
